What is Geography?
Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments.
Undergraduate Degrees
We offer a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) undergraduate degree. You will be challenged with a comprehensive curriculum that will prepare you to solve real world problems.
MINORS

Earn your Master of Applied Geography (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree with a wide range of research areas.

Please join us in celebrating the incredible work of our students and faculty at our Department Award Celebration at the JC Kellam Building 11th Floor Ballroom on Friday, April 11. Following the awards, there will be a Networking Reception to allow students to engage with our incredible alumni and speak with those currently working in the field.
If you would like to connect with our highest achieving students about job opportunities, internships, or research, or would just like to celebrate the success of our department, we encourage you to attend!
Event Schedule
5:00-6:15 pm: Presentation of awards and scholarships
6:30-8:00 pm: Networking Reception
Registration is $10 per person and includes parking validation, food, and 2 drink tickets. Guests should park at the Edward Gary Parking Garage. If you are feeling generous, you may also donate to sponsor a table at the event!
