Online Professional Development

A huge part of the mission for the Grosvenor Center for Geographic Education is to provide professional development for geography teachers across the world. 

In 2012, Geography: Teaching with the Stars (Stars) was developed. This program is an online professional development opportunity for teachers. 

In 2017, we are expanding on Stars and developing a new program called Project Geography Online (Project GO). Project GO will include four new programs that will provide videos of a face-to-face professional development workshop. We are looking for STAR teachers to be a part of Project GO. Interested teachers should fill out an application and send it to gcge.geoed@txstate.edu by February 20th.
