PANGEA History and Purpose
Since 2004, PANGEA (formerly GSRS), has been organized annually by a student-led committee to enable Texas State University students, undergraduate and graduate students from across the southwest, and geography educators to meet, interact, and collaborate in a research conference setting.
PANGEA is an opportunity for students to share their research as well as practice and receive feedback on their research presentations (paper and poster). The conference is free and includes snacks, coffee, and a lunch meal. The event concludes with a paper/poster award ceremony. Check back later for our keynote speaker information.
Registration is now open. Please note that it is not a requirement to present a paper or poster at PANGEA, but we ask all attendees to register prior to the deadline so that we have an accurate participant count for meals, etc.
