Multidisciplinary Connections
The Department of Geography takes a lead in organizing campus-wide activities related to GIScience. Several departments (see below) have been actively participating in these activities. Faculty members from different departments are able to form research teams to address research questions with an interdisciplinary nature. The university senior administration has been very supportive of campus-wide activities related to GIScience.
