Online MAGeo in Geographic Education: Curriculum
The online M.A.Geo. Major in Geography (Geographic Education Concentration) is a 33-credit, non-thesis program. Students enroll in 3 core courses (GEO5300 or GEO5342; GEO5301 or DE5339; and GEO5309), 5 concentration courses in geography education and 2 electives, followed by a semester-long capstone experience (GEO5335 Directed Research).

Suggested online path and course offering schedule
You will work closely with your advisor to build your degree plan. Below is a suggested sequence of courses for Fall 2023 cohort. You may choose and enroll in 1-3 courses each semester.

You may take courses as a non-degree-seeking student in the spring or summer semesters and have those course credits counted toward your master's degree when admitted to the program in the fall.
